Residents may have noticed that there is construction work going on in the Palladian precinct, in the area around the buggy path approach to the overpass bridge.
Issues surrounding the structural integrity of the boundary wall at the approach to the bridge have made it essential to realign the existing path and move it further away from the adjacent property.
The work should be completed by the end of April. Access to the overpass bridge will continue to be available throughout that period.
The cost of the work will be met from funds held currently in the PTBC Sinking Fund. While the work is underway, the opportunity will be taken to fill in the open drain in the immediately surrounding grassed area, making it safer and available to residents as another Park area.
