Geoff and Judith have been living in The Lakes North, HIR, for over 5 years.
Geoff worked for the Victorian Government and in private enterprise for over 40 years. He has extensive experience in a broad range of management disciplines, including financial management, marketing & advertising, business planning & development, purchase of new assets, contract tendering & management, human resources including staff training & development, and political liaison.
Geoff has academic qualifications in Accounting and Marketing.
He retired as the Managing Director of one of the major passenger transport businesses in Victoria in 2002.
He has been Secretary/Manager of Bodies Corporate in Melbourne, and Chairman of several Bodies Corporate during the last 15 years.
Geoff has taken a very active commercial interest in the management of Hope Island Resort, and has been primarily responsible for the transition from a Developer-controlled structure, including the PBC, PTBC and all Residential Bodies Corporate, to one where there is extensive representation by Owners on all Committees.
As Chairman of the Principal Body Corporate and also the Primary Thoroughfare Body Corporate, he has a detailed insight into the broad range of activities which formulate the integrated nature of Hope Island Resort, including the Residential Bodies Corporate and the commercial interests in the PTBC.
Geoff is the current President of the HIR Wine Society and President/Chairman of the Links Legends golfing group.
