The PBC (Principal Body Corporate) can be described as the "Governing Council" for all residential areas of our Resort, and is responsible for decisions affecting the efficient maintenance and financial management of the secondary thoroughfare and other common assets of our Resort.
The PBC comprises Nominee Representatives, properly elected by all Residential Bodies Corporate (RBC) at Annual General meetings each year, and other non Body Corporate members.
The PBC through its Executive Committee, who are elected at the Annual General meeting of the PBC by the RBC nominees, directs and supervises the activities of the Body Corporate Manager, Cambridge Management Services, as well as considering a diverse range of matters and making recommendations to the PBC Committee at General meetings for approval, regarding initiatives that will maintain or enhance the lifestyle, presentation standards and property values of our Resort.
The PBC nominees and Executive Committee members are a group of elected volunteer representatives who work without payment and strive to act in the best interests of HIR owners, to whom we are accountable.
PBC Sub-Committees
The role of the Sub-Committees is to oversee the specific areas designated, and deal with issues that require more detailed research and information from a policy setting perspective.
They are required to be run in a professional, businesslike manner, but only have a mandate to make recommendations to the PBC Executive and the PBC Committee in respect to any major changes.
