Security Success for Gate Control System !
The new gate control system being installed across the Resort is proving its worth already.
A resident recently had their car stolen. The contents included gate openers and the resident's address was among the papers in the car. It seems that the thieves decided to visit the home, hoping to gain access to the area by using one of the gate openers.
Fortunately, the resident had the good sense to advise Security that the gate openers had been stolen with the car. Using the technology in the new gate system, Security were able to set the system for an alarm to show up if those openers were used and also prevent them being used to gain entry into HIR.
Video footage of the would-be intruders' car was obtained and has been given to the Police to help them in their efforts to apprehend those involved.
